On This Day in American History
On July 29, 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower authorizes the creation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the civilian agency that would be responsible for coordinating America’s activities in space and, as the president said, further equip the United States for leadership in the space age.

YOSHIDA BLOG: I selected "1958 NASA established"(HISTORY) as the route of this event, following each phrases editing "Illustrated story" of the birth of NASA.
