The editor of this web site, Yuki Yoshida(Hereafter call with the subject of "I", have played what I call "The first, the second and the third stages of Life back in Japan as a top business person. On February 1st, 2009, I began, at the age of late 78, to have what I call "The fourth stage of life" in this soil of the Republic of the Philippines with some aims and reasons, which the visitors would come to find by visiting this Web from time to time.(January 1st, 2018)            www.a-bombsurvivorcom/public_html/index.1.4.html

The above photos, the left is the one taken coincidentally right on the very day and moment when the Huge and dreadful earthquake hit in Eastern Japan on March 11, 2011. You could see this in "Atomic bomb survivor credits desire to learn for living 'four lives'(The JAPAN Times, August 4, 2012). The middle is the one taken on the day when my passport was renewed in the Japanese Embassy in Manila on September 11, 2014, with another termination date of Ten years, 2024, meaning I would be 93-year-old with the necessity for the next renewal with another termination of 103 years old! Yes!? The necessity would come again! Ha. Far the right one is the one taken in October, 2017 in my office.

The followings are some of my writing records in English publicly opened. The Japanese editions of this kind are far the more, though....

I was then in the third stage of my life as a business consultant, maverick consultant firm, LOGITANT, Inc., meaning "Logistic and Logical consultant. Logistic comes from my own experience of managing a trucking industry company, years later developing into what I called "Seven group companies". "Logic" came from my personal life philosophy of "logical thinking and behavior".

The fourth from left is the one depicting "My  9-minutes-speech in Las Vegus in the International conference of SAM(The Society for Advancement of Management)". I was then the president of Hiroshima branch chapter of the SAM. The award was "Material Handling Award". The attendants were some 300, business persons, university professors and the graduate students, one third each. My dear memory was "Huge standing ovation with whistles" occurred and continued even after returned to my table on the stage!!

Thus after spending my first , second and third stages of my life as a top business person, I am in this soil of the Philippines playing what I call "The fourth life". My expectation would be the 5th life in which I would be "The fifth stage of my life".

One thing that is worthy of depicting here and I feel proud of is that an almost-100-year-old trucking company in Shimbashi, Tokyo which was used be my 10-year-old client until leaving Japan is still and will be using Yoshida-written book as a sort of text for the newly-employed managers. The book is "Yoshida's Advice to the Professional Truck Drivers"(Japanese Edition) plays a sort of its text. I have its English translation of the Contents in English."English Contents" is it.

                                         The Editor's memo for this day!
                                      Monday, 8, January, 2018
Things are preventing me go on with the editing due to something happening in the computers after a technician made the work done this morning. An amateur like me can go on with the editing somehow. However, once unusual things happen to the computer, I could do nothing but "give up".....

One of the most important function I use often is "Searching", either Google or Yahoo, recently the latter mainly due to the former seems to have some trouble, I mean, on my side something miss operating or the like, though.

By the way, I noticed the blue sky was there out, so that I dashed to get out again! and enjoyed the sunbathing in the back pretty good. Nothing is best but being healthy under the Sun....

Back in Japan, I was used to say that our country is blessed with four seasons. However,  ever since I came to live in this tropical country like Philippines, that concept of mine has been remarkably changed! The four seasons demand people to be ready with thing for four seasons, bringing more burdens for clothes and for room coolers and heaters, which, I think, is one reason why we Japanese are known big in number for suicide. (Three days absence due to  Internet disconnection!)

                       today@VOA & NYTimes.com
This column is for editing what I call "the illustrated stories" with photos related with the events and news, so that the visitors could enjoy the stories in a visual ways. The former, "today@VOA" deals with historical events with the exception of week-ends, and the latter with stories who lived and dead with more than a hundred years old of his or her lives. My interest in the latter one comes from my strong will of living more than a hundred of years trying to make it with a thought of my mother who lived until 102, or my personal wish and will to live a life of the so-called "The longest lived Hibakusha(A-bomb survivor) with my thought of "Ms. Elbina Deans, the longest-lived suruvivor of the Titanic", and another target of a 119-year-old Filipina, Puerto Princesa, with the title of oldest living person in the Guinness Book of World Records.
(The following three Event stories are not edited due to three-day-internet-disconnection. Whether or not they would be edited later,  is not clear.)

The area in northwestern Arizona, inhabited by Native Americans for centuries, draws thousands of tourists each year. On January 10, 1901, the US oil industry is born when a drilling rig near Beaumont, Texas, produces an enormous gusher of crude oil that takes nine days to cap. Following the discovery, petroleum becomes the main fuel source for new inventions such as cars and airplanes, while coal-powered ships and trains also convert to the liquid fuel. On This Day in American History
On January 8, 1877, Native American leader Crazy Horse and his warriors fight their last battle against the US Cavalry in Montana. Crazy Horse resisted after the US government ordered all of the Lakota Indians onto reservations. Six months earlier Crazy Horse and ally Chief Sitting Bull had defeated Lt. Col. George Custer in the Battle of Little Bighorn, which later became known as ‘Custer’s Last Stand.’ But this time around Crazy Horse and his men are outnumbered, low on ammunition and forced to use bows and arrows to defend themselves. Crazy Horse surrenders a few months later, one of the last important chiefs to do so. (Photo: This image of Crazy Horse was allegedly taken in 1877, but it’s authenticity is in question because Crazy Horse refused to be photographed for most of his life.)

       This editor's hidden talent is the English recitation of
The following is only an example of what I have in personal policy or what are called "personal philosophy" or the like. Others are supposed to be translated into English someday, though)

I am fond of English language. My history of English language studying dates back when I was in night-time high school. I was obliged to give up higher education because of my father's early death right after the Hiroshima atomic bomb drop.

The followings are the one I am proud of being able to make recitation of in good memory in a way as a native speaker or even better(laugh). This is the one I could be proud of and being able to make better than the natives, yes!. You will be astonished when hear it!

Oh I remember back in Japan some years ago, I happened to watch the CNN on the Day 11-9 ceremony, an American politician made that recitation as good as I!(laugh again)

At the end of this top page, let me introduce something about my personal hobby for English language learning and practices. The following five English notes are the ones I love to make recitation of with loud voice as good as the native English speakers.

The motivation  for this habit is very interesting, and let me explain;
Back in Japan when I was 40-year-old or so, I began to take a morning nice and hot bath after more than an-hour-physical exercises until good amount of perspiration, which, I thought, was good for a person who cannot enjoy the shower after playing the golf.

Good amount of perspiration after exercises and more in hot bath tub brought me splendid feeling, so that I hit upon an idea of using the time in the bathtub in a more efficient way, and that is to make recitations of English speech or the poem or the like while enjoying nice and hot tub!

By the way, dipping into nice and hot bathtub is no more needed for me in this tropical country. My style all through the day and night is "Suteteko(middle-long light pants) & short shirts style" from morning through night.

Well, let me explain my English recitation hobbies. The first one is "The Lord's Prayer", and continued on with such as; "Lord's Prayer", "The Lion's Code of Ethics", "Lincoln's Gettysburg's Address", "Youth", "My Way". This takes about 8-minute, which I found it was good enough time before the perspiration came out(In Japan with nice and hot bath tub, but no more here in a tropical country, though.)
My recitation items and the motivations are as follow;
